Things to do in Kilkenny when the Sun is shining

Castle Morres Walks.J

Woodstock Gardens, Inistioge.

In the summer months – Kilfane Glen and Gardens (no pets allowed).

Waterford and Wexford Coast Beaches. We particularly like – Duncannon, Annestown and Ardmore. Tramore gets very, very busy on a good day.J

One of the signposted drives which we describe in the holiday folder in each cottage (bring a picnic). J

Mahon Falls in the Comeragh Mountains. Beautiful scenery and views. J

A Kilkenny walking tour.

The Dunbrody Famine Ship.

Visit the Rock of Cashel.

Climb Sliabh na Mon. J

Things to do in Kilkenny when it is raining

Bowling in Kilkenny City.

Visit the Watershed in Kilkenny city or SplashWorld in Waterford for a swim.

Paint some pottery in the Pottery Shed.

Take the Kids to Playstation in Kilkenny to burn off some calories.

A tour of Kilkenny Castle.
